Our Mission

Our mission at Cham Doen Presbyterian Church EM is to help people thrive by finding and following Jesus.

We believe the church is called to live a life of authenticity that will reestablish its credibility with a culture that has too long viewed it through the eyes of doubt and cynicism. The services at CDPC EM are intended to be powerful and inspiring as we talk about the issues you face everyday and connect God’s wisdom and Word to your life.

We have a place for everyone. Whether you’re single, married, a parent, teen or child, we desire to make church a creative, relevant and lifechanging experience for you each week. Our prayer is that our services challenge and encourage you as you grow in your relationship with Jesus.

Pastor E.K. Park

E.K. leads English Ministry at Cham Doen Presbyterian Church. He has a powerful testimony of how God led him from a heritage in Buddhism to becoming a follower of Jesus Christ.

He encountered the gospel at the age of 17. Growing up in devoutly Buddhist, he never believed God cared for him. Eventually, he was invited to church by a friend During his time there E.K. met an English teacher who demonstrated the love of God to him. Through this friendship, E.K. surrendered his life to Christ.

E.K.’s new faith instilled a passion for sharing the gospel. As his burden for evangelism grew, E.K. has served as a minister in Korea and China, encouraging others with the good news of Jesus Christ. He is always looking for new ways to bridge the gap across cultures and share the love of Jesus Christ. In the future, E.K. desires to equip disciples to make a difference with the gospel among local churches in the U.S.

Community group

Small groups are a key aspect of our church community. Most meet bi-weekly in the home of a group member (usually the leader's home). We try to keep them limited to about 12 people. If you can't find an open group, please let us know! email address
